Want to learn how to create a useful OneNote meeting template for yourself or your team? Here’s how to set it up inside OneNote as a template. Start by adding a blank page, and name it anything you want—let’s say, “Meeting Minutes Template.” The name doesn’t matter much, as the most important part is to right-click and insert a photo or picture.
Let me insert a file I downloaded earlier. This is my meeting minutes layout, and I can just drag it and resize it as needed. Now, right-click on the photo and select “Set Picture as Background” because you’ll want to write things on top of it. Once you set the picture as the background, you won’t be able to move it anymore, but you’ll have a fixed surface to work on.
Next, if you want to add the date or day, just click and start typing. For example, you can type in today’s date, say, August 23rd. Adjust it to your liking, and that’s how you create a simple and effective meeting template in OneNote.
